Dr. Roy L. Bowen

Went to meet the Lord December 6, 2023 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Sally (nee Hanak) for 58 years. Loving father of Nicole (Chuck) Purpura. He is further survived by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Roy was a proud US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a successful businessman, pastor, author and founder and president of Midwest Bible College.

Discipling students and pastors was the passion of his life. He touched many people’s lives over the years and those relationships were very important to him. In Africa, he discipled pastors, preached to many, and loved the humanitarian work he was able to help provide. He adored his family, gardening and golf.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Midwest Bible College Scholarship fund (MidwestBibleCollege.org/donate).

Visitation Thursday, December 14 from 1:00 to 3:45 PM at SPRING CREEK CHURCH (N35 W22000 W. Capitol Dr, Pewaukee 53072) with Funeral Service at 3:45 PM. Interment at City of Delta Cemetery, Delta, CO.
