2023 Hunting Moon Pow Wow

Potawatomi Casino Hotel, 1721 W. Canal St., hosts the 2023 Hunting Moon Pow Wow Oct. 20-22. Drum, singing and dance competitions are part of the experience; another highlight is the grand entry procession, at 7 p.m. Oct. 20, 1 and 7 p.m. Oct. 21, and noon Oct. 22. Gallery Night & Day

Milwaukee's fall Gallery Night & Day is Oct. 20-21, with more than 50 venues bringing people and art together. Artists will be on hand at many spots; so will snacks. Admission is free. Info: gallerynightmke.com.

'Darrel Ellis: Regeneration' at Milwaukee Art Museum

"Darrel Ellis: Regeneration," the groundbreaking mixed-media artist's first major exhibition, opens at the Milwaukee Art Museum Oct. 20. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Sundays (till 8 p.m. on Thursdays). The show is included with museum admission: $22; $17 for students, seniors 65 and older and military members; free for kids 12 and younger. Info: mam.org.

Flannel Fest at the Cooperage

Flannet Fest, the popular fall street festival in the Harbor District, returns from noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 21 in the parking lot outside Boone & Crockett and The Cooperage, 818 and 822 S. Water St. There's music on two stages, food from more than a half-dozen trucks, a vendor roundup and more. Admission is free. Info: cooperagemke.com.

Totally Rad Vintage Fest

The Totally Rad Vintage Fest features vendors peddling clothing and accessories from the 1980s, '90s and the aughts — including records, toys, video games and more. It's at State Fair Park's Wisconsin Exposition Center on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $8; an early-bird option gets you in the door at 8:30 a.m. for $25. Old Fashioned Fest

Old Fashioned Fest returns to the Tripoli Shrine, 3000 W. Wisconsin Ave., from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 21. A dozen cocktail purveyors will vie for votes as makers of the area's best.
