AJ Dillon hasn't forgotten that Fox cheated Jordan Love out of a turkey leg on Thanksgiving and is wearing a shirt to call the network out

AJ Dillon is as strong of an advocate of Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love as they come.

When he feels his teammate has been wronged he's not afraid to call someone out.

And that extends to Turkeygate 2023.

You didn't think this would be just passed over like that dish no one likes at your Thanksgiving dinner so quickly did you? Dillon certainly hasn't forgotten that Love was cheated out of a turkey leg after he carved up the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving at Ford Field two weeks ago.

Last week, Dillon, who knows a thing or two about marketing himself since entering the league, was already selling T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies on his website that featured a large graphic that read: "Turkeygate Never Forget Thanksgiving 2023."

He upped his game this week.

Dillon entered the Packers locker room on Monday wearing a shirt that read "Fox owes Jordan Love a turkey leg."

The shirt is the creation of Dakota Mitchell and Matt Ramage at Campeche Collective, a merchandise and professional graphic design services business.

Dillon apparently raced out of the Packers locker room before reporters could snap a pic of Dillon wearing the shirt.

But with the power of photoshop, here's how the shirt looks on Dillon.

Jordan Love doesn't get turkey leg on Thanksgiving 2023 after Packers win over Lions

Love had just completed his finest game to date — that's been since surpassed after his performance on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs — and was being interviewed on the field by Fox's Erin Andrews.

Traditionally, the top player of the winning team is awarded a giant turkey leg to dive into.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love smiles during a postgame interview with Fox Sports' Erin Andrews after the 29-22 win over the Detroit Lions on Nov. 23 at Ford Field. Love was not awarded a customary turkey leg, something fans and his teammates are still not over.

Much to the surprise of many, Love didn't get one, something Andrews appropriately acknowledged as the interview was winding down.

“You’re looking for a turkey leg, we don’t have one,” Andrews said to Love. “We’re going to make a donation on your behalf."

She then told him to have a happy Thanksgiving.

It was a happy day on the field for Love, but it didn't take long for social media to wonder why there wasn't the honorary feast for Love like there had been for players year after year in a tradition that the legendary John Madden made famous.

It was especially odd when the Packers were playing on the network that Madden called home and because the NFL was also honoring him throughout the day. Madden also made the turducken (a deboned turkey, stuffed with a deboned duck, stuffed with a chicken) a tradition on the day.

Jordan Love has his 'foot on the gas' for Packers

Love hasn't commented on Turkeygate 2023.

Instead, he's been eating another way: feasting on the opposition. Love followed up his Thanksgiving Day game with a spectacular showing in the Packers' 27-19 win over the Chiefs on Sunday, throwing three touchdown passes without an interception for the second straight game.

His confidence and swagger is in full gear on the field and he extended that over to social media on Tuesday.

"I got my foot on (the) neck and my foot on the gas," Love wrote on Instagram, with a series of images from Sunday's win.
