The Jaguars suffered a crippling loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last time out on Monday night, losing 34-31 in OT. Jacksonville also saw QB Trevor Lawrence limp off with a high-ankle sprain while WR Christian Kirk suffered a core muscle injury which will keep him out 6-8 weeks with surgery needed.

The Browns are glad to be back home after losing the past 2 weekends on the road against the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams. Cleveland had covered 4 straight games prior to the back-to-back losses and non-covers. The Over is 3-1 in the past 4 games, and 5-2 in the previous 7 outings.

Moneyline

The BROWNS (-172) are a little expensive, but not priced out of line if you'd like to just declare a winner and not fool around with laying the points.

The Jaguars (+144) have too many question marks. Lawrence suffered a high-ankle sprain 6 days ago, so it's unlikely he'll play, but there is hope with the questionable tag. If C.J. Beathard starts instead, that's a big difference. And it's concerning that RB Travis Etienne has the 50-50 tag, too. That's being overlooked a little bit.

Against the spread

The BROWNS -3 (-115) are worth playing, and this line could balloon a little bit if Lawrence and/or Etienne are declared unfit to play.

While Cleveland has lost the past 2 games, while also failing to cover, it is 3-0 SU/ATS in the past 3 outings at home.

Over/Under

OVER 33.5 (-110) is worth a roll of the dice, as it won't take much to get this one across the finish line, even if Jacksonville is forced to go at it without some of its big stars on the offensive side of the line.

The Over is 3-1 in the past 4 games overall for the Browns, while cashing at a 5-2-1 clip in the past 8 contests.

The Over has hit in 2 of the past 3 games for the Jags, too, with a 4-3 edge in the previous 7 outings. The defense has allowed 25.8 PPG in the past 4 games.
