Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys odds, picks and predictions

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) and Dallas Cowboys (9-3) meet in Week 14 for Sunday Night Football at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook's lines around the Eagles vs. Cowboysodds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Eagles are coming off an embarrassing 42-19 loss at home against the San Francisco 49ers in a marquee game gone awry for the defending NFC champs. The defense has been an issue in the past 2 games, allowing 38.0 PPG. Needless to say, the Over cashed in those outings, and the total has gone high in 4 of the past 5 games overall.

The Cowboys are looking to avenge a 28-23 loss in Philly on Nov. 9, as the Eagles covered as 3-point favorites. Dallas has won 4 straight since that setback, while going 3-1 against the spread (ATS) during that span. The Over is on a 5-1 run for the Pokes, too.

Eagles at Cowboys picks and predictions

Prediction

Cowboys 33, Eagles 27

Moneyline

The Cowboys (-180) are just a little too expensive for my liking.

While the Eagles (+152) have won 2 of the past 3 meetings, including in Week 9, both of those wins are in Philadelphia. In fact, Dallas has won the past 5 meetings at Jerry World, with the Eagles last winning in the Metroplex in 2017 by a 37-9 score. I might have rolled the dice on the Eagles if not for an absolutely awful performance last week against the 49ers.

PASS.

Against the spread

The COWBOYS -3.5 (+100) are a decent play at home, although a flat 3 would obviously be a lot more attractive.

Dallas is on a 4-game winning streak, while covering 3 of the past 4 outings, and the offense has been humming. Dallas is 5-2 ATS in the past 7 games, too, while going 8-4 ATS on the season overall.

Over/Under

OVER 51.5 (-110) is a strong play with both of these powerful offenses clashing.

It's been all about the Over for the 'Boys lately, cashing in 5 of the past 6 games overall. That includes the first meeting in Philadelphia, which saw 51 combined points to cash the Over (46.5).

The Over is 4-1 in the past 5 games for the Eagles, with the defense allowing 31 or more points in 3 of those outings.
